Great opportunity for Payroll Officer required for a commerical organisation in a 12 month contract with possible extension in Newcastle, NSW

Working in a small team you will focus processing Payroll entitlements within an industry leader using a range payroll systems including SAP. You will also understand employment conditions, local legislation, entitlements, HR policies, internal procedures and awards.

Key duties include:

- Processing and assigning data for various cases in Database
- Processing high volume of invoices and payroll data
- Production and compiling of documents
- Filing, mail receipting, sorting, photocopying
- Maintenance of records, registers and databases

Minimum of 2 years experience in Payroll environment AND/OR Accounts Assistant.
- SAP experience
- High attention to detail and comfortable in a busy Payroll/accounting environment
- Excellent people skills along with administration skills
- Knowledge of workers compensation insurance beneficial
