About the role

You will report to the Head of People Culture and Capability and will be a critical connection for our P&C team to deliver exceptional outcomes while supporting the broader business in their people activities and initiatives.


We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail oriented and dynamic Human Resources professional. This role suits an experienced Human Resources Coordinator that is looking to expand on their existing skills by working in a dynamic environment within a growing organisation.



Responsibilities
  • Partner with the People & Culture team and business to provide a high level of professional HR generalist services including timely and accurate advice, guidance and information.
  • Support the Head of PCC in general HR administration requirements.
  • Support end-to-end recruitment processes and candidate management.
  • Coordinate activities across the entire employee lifecycle including onboarding, training, performance appraisal process, performance management coordination, and offboarding.
  • Ensure accurate employee records are maintained within the HRIS.
  • Develop and/or update workplace policies, procedures and practices to ensure current best practice is achieved.
  • Assist in delivering people initiatives, including health & wellbeing, reward & recognition and workplace culture.
  • Be a trusted adviser and first point of contact on people related matters across various departments, escalating to senior PCC representatives as required.
  • Be the SME on the HRIS and provide advice on HR system and process improvements.
  • Manage people systems and data including monthly reporting of HR metrics.
  • Ensure open and professional communication with stakeholders across various work groups.
  • A change champion with the ability to adapt easily in a dynamic operating environment.


About you

You will be an experienced HR professional with a strong HR generalist background. You will be a positive self-starter with a passion for people. This role requires you to be highly organised therefore an eye for detail and excellent communication is critical to succeed.


This role will suit you if you are proactive and you thrive on keeping busy with a genuine desire to support others in achieving their goals. This is a hands-on role where you will make a visible impact to the P&C team achieving their goals.



Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years' HR generalist experience in a similar role in a dynamic operating environment.
  • Strong knowledge and sound experience in dealing with current employment laws and associated workplace requirements.
  • Sound understanding and interpretation of Awards/EBA's and employment contract conditions.
  • Strong organisational skills, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and HRIS (Employment Hero is advantageous)
  • Demonstrated discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated resilience and adaptability
