What you'll do

The primary purpose of this role is to lead and manage government projects, ensuring assigned project work is delivered on time and to a high quality standard. You will execute a wide range of tasks including managing stakeholders, producing regular reports, coordinating resources, tracking progress and performance and any other tasks required to get the project done. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will report to the Implementation & Integration Manager to ensure that contractual deliverables are met, delivered on time and to specification.

What you'll need
  • Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering.
  • Great experience in delivering projects using PMBoK or PRINCE2 Methodologies
  • Experience in budget forecasting and budget management
  • Experience in creating Project Management Plans to support bids and tenders
  • Procurement and Supply Chain experience
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office including Excel, Word, Project)
  • Strong presentation and written communication skills
  • Experience in delivering projects for Government customers
  • Ability to travel interstate
  • Must hold and maintain Australian citizenship and either already have or be able to qualify for Australian Defence baseline clearance
  • Must have a current Australian driver's license and passport
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
