Company Description

Pro Bookkeeping Australia provides specialist bookkeeping services for Real Estate Trust accounts and BAS services throughout Australia. Our team consists of experts in trust accounting and bank reconciliations. We offer consultancy for MRI software, including REST and PropertyTree, and we are partners with MYOB and Xero. Our aim is to deliver high-quality and accurate accounting services tailored to our clients' needs.

Are you an experienced Trust Accountant looking to join a growing boutique firm that partners with leading residential and commercial real estate agencies? We're seeking a detail-driven, motivated professional to join our team and take ownership of key trust accounting functions.

We are looking for full time however if you present as a perfect fit for this role we will consider Part Time and flexible working arrangements.

What you'll do:

• Manage bank reconciliations and payment runs
• Process invoice entry with accuracy and efficiency
• Liaise with property managers and directors on trust account matters
• Coordinate disbursements for both residential and commercial clients
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual trust accounting reports
• Ensure compliance with all trust accounting regulations and requirements

What we're looking for:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in real estate trust accounting
• Accounting/Bookkeeping qualification highly regarded
• Strong knowledge of trust accounting legislation and compliance
• Familiarity with Property Tree, PropertyMe, Re-leased
• Commercial trust accounting experience will be considered a major advantage
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines
• A proactive, go-getter attitude with excellent time management
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Work with a supportive small boutique team that values precision and independence
• Exposure to a diverse client base across both residential and commercial real estate all around Australia
• Flexible working arrangements and long-term career stability
