Hanwha Defence Australia is seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. In this key role, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic objectives of our business and make a meaningful impact.

What you'll be doing

Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules and budgets to drive project delivery
Coordinate and oversee the work of cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers and subcontractors
Identify and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies to keep projects on track
Provide regular progress updates and reports to key stakeholders
Ensure projects comply with all relevant regulations, standards and quality requirements
Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing

What we're looking for

Experience as a Project Manager, delivering projects below the line in the defence industry.
Experience in utilising ASDEFCON or similar suite (i.e. State/Federal Government) of tendering and contracting templates
Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute complex project plans
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Demonstrated success in leading and motivating cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
Proficient in the use of project management software and tools
Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline
To be successful in this role, you will need to be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security clearance (must be Australian Citizen). Eligibility criteria can be found at http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva
