About the Role

The Burnside Village Operations Manager role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis and reports to the Senior Operations Manager, collaborating with them, the Centre General Manager and the executive team. You will be responsible for operational management of Burnside Village, with a focus on premium presentation standards, cleaning, maintenance, and compliance functions, and ensuring alignment with financial, safety, and strategic objectives

Duties

Lead day-to-day centre operations, presentation, and maintenance activities

Manage, coach, and support three Maintenance Officers

Monitor budgets, control costs, and analyse operational performance

Coordinate contractors, support CAPEX and upgrade projects

Review operational processes and make recommendations for improvement

Create and manage the Duty Manager roster

Ensure WHS, risk, and compliance requirements are always met

Liaise with internal teams, retailers, and external partners

Skills & Experience

Qualifications in project management, building, construction or related fields (desirable)

Significant recent success in a similar operational and facilities management role

Strong commercial acumen to drive operational efficiency and financial outcomes

Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs and deliver financial targets

Excellence in communication, organisation, technology use and self-governance
