Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, and minor works across our assets and infrastructure. This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in facilities management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services. They will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of facilities management services, contributing to the continuous improvement of administrative systems, and maintaining compliance with government policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate maintenance, repair, and minor works across assets and infrastructure.
  • Manage preventative and breakdown maintenance schedules and coordinate contractors and schedules.
  • Support asset security systems and deliver minor projects.
  • Promote energy efficiency and maintain detailed administrative records.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering facilities management services across multi-site, complex property portfolios.
  • Proven ability to manage both planned and unplanned maintenance programs, including asset registers, condition audits, and compliance documentation.
  • Strong skills in using Microsoft Office, asset management systems, building management systems (BMS), access control, and security systems.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills to achieve quality, cost-effective outcomes.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Project management, particularly with minor works and refurbishment projects.
  • Oversight of contractor performance across a range of service contracts.
  • Analytical aptitude for interpreting financial data, performance metrics, and building plans to inform decision-making.
  • Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, principles, and risk management practices.
  • Commitment to fostering positive stakeholder relationships and delivering high-quality service.
