Effective management of day-to-day operations at NEXTDC's edge facilities, including the management of facility contractors, overseeing maintenance, supporting customers and ensuing quality delivery of NEXTDC and contracting services.
As our Facility Manager you'll be responsible for the effective management of day-to-day operations at NEXTDC's Adelaide A1 facility. This will include managing facility staff and contractors, overseeing maintenance and ensuring quality delivery of both NEXTDC and contracting services to our customers.
To be successful in this role, you will have extensive knowledge of data centres including electrical and mechanical configurations, rack management, telecommunication connectivity, design and installation, with a good understanding of high-density data centre power, cooling approaches and technologies.

**Qualifications**
- Extensive knowledge of all aspects of data centres including electrical and mechanical configurations, rack management, design and installation
- Understanding of high-density data centre power, cooling approaches and technologies
- Experience with telecommunications and connectivity
- Knowledge of cabling & cable management and quality inspection / assurance
- Sound knowledge of building services (Structural, DRUPS/UPS, HV/LV switchgear, Electrical Design, Generators, Security Systems, HVAC, Fire, Security, EMS, BMS)
- Knowledge of various codes and applicable regulations
- Management and leadership of facilities staff
- A customer first attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Service Now, and other computer-based building service systems and platforms.
- Exceptional planning, organising and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and effective interpersonal skills
