**THE COMPANY**

State Government Department requires the services of a Facilities Manager for a temporary assignment up until 31st December at this stage.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

You will provide a coordinated management service for their distribution centre based at Gepps Cross

**RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to)**
- Ensuring that the Facilities process is conducted effectively and efficiently
- Ensuring facilities maintenance and servicing are carried out in a timely manner
- Contractor Management including Cleaners
- Training of Distribution staff
- Management of security system
- Maintaining the Facilities Database as required by the Manager
- Liaise with internal and external customers regarding maintenance and property issues
- Ensuring Facilities policies and procedures are up-to-date and communicated to staff
- Maintaining communication between internal and external stakeholders

**ESSENTIAL**
- Facilities management experience
- Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office
- High Efficiency in written and verbal communication skills
- Proven organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- A strong record of being self-driven and demonstrating initiative
- A team player, able to work with a range of stakeholders
- Professional and polite communication style
- Excellent time management skills
- Current Driver's Licence
- National Police Check no older than 12 months
- Fully vaccinated - COVID
