We're Kit, built by CommBank – an earning-and-learning, mindfully-spending, money-mastering app and prepaid card for kids. We are a diverse team of product managers, designers, marketers, engineers, risk managers and customer service gurus. We're working together to deliver the future of financial capability for young people living in Australia. We're looking for smart people who think differently and want to create products and experiences that result in future generations of financially confident, capable and resilient citizens thriving in the new world of money.
Where would you fit? You'll join the Kit Ventures team, working on the Kit Cares Community Giving program—a national grassroots program designed to help drive impact and outcomes for Australian families and communities through funds and fundraising. This role sits at the intersection of community, brand, and purpose, and offers the opportunity to work with and learn from a team of marketers that have built some of Australia's most iconic and challenger brands including AirRobe, Stan, MilkRun, BigPond, Domain, ING, Klarna, and Brighte.
Role OverviewThis is a career-defining opportunity to lead the design, launch, and execution of a high-impact community grants program. As Kit\'s Community Program Manager, you'll have the opportunity to leverage your experience and our network to engage national sporting organisations like Football Australia, media partners, and consumer brands (Rebel, Kmart, Under Armour, LEGO, Disney, Wesfarmers and more) to ensure the Program has maximum appeal and impact.
An initial 6-month secondment or contract, with the opportunity to transition to an ongoing role if the pilot program demonstrates strong impact and growth. Ideally a full-time opportunity, we are also open to discussing flexibility to perform the role part time across 4 full days a week.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end strategy, delivery, and measurement of the Kit Cares Community Kickstart program.
- Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners including sporting bodies, media, retailers, and community organisations.
- Design and execute grassroots campaigns and toolkits to drive grant applications and community engagement.
- Oversee operational delivery including onboarding, support, and community rollout.
- Define and track success metrics, share insights to inform program optimisations and future initiatives.
- Proven success in developing and managing community or grassroots programs that drive engagement and measurable impact.
- Ability to engage your network of diverse stakeholder groups from local community groups all the way up to large organisations, media, and consumer brands.
- Strong strategic thinking and proven ability to design and implement scalable initiatives.
- High energy, proactive mindset, and comfort with ambiguity and experimentation.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Kit operates in "the space between" corporate and startup, fusing the best of both worlds to build and scale ventures that deliver real impact. You'll be part of a team that combines the security, stability, and scale of CommBank with the agility, innovation, and grit of early-stage startups. It's a unique landscape where careers, ideas, and expertise collide to create opportunities to scale—your full potential, faster.
In addition, you'll enjoy:
- A safe space for our people to show up as they are
- Opportunities for professional growth and development.
- Access to the best-in-class benefits that CommBank offers.
- Options for part-time or full-time engagement, including 4 or 5-day work weeks for the right candidate.
