The Loan Kit Coordinator plays a vital part in ensuring that all loan kits arrive on time and are properly managed throughout the operating room suite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately receive and track loan kit goods into the hospital
  • Prepare loan kits for CSSD processing, ensuring all components are accounted for
  • Ensure loan kits are complete and returned to companies without any issues
  • Maintain knowledge of current AS 5369 standards
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with department staff and other areas

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience in CSSD and loan kit management
  • Certificate III or higher in Sterilising Services
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate with company reps, doctors' rooms, and clinical teams
