What you\'ll be doing
  • Menu Development:Collaborate with the Exec Chef to create and update menus, including seasonal specials, while maintaining a balance between creativity and customer preferences.
  • Food Preparation:Oversee the preparation of meals, ensuring that dishes are prepared in accordance with recipes, quality standards and presentation guidelines.
  • Cleaning and Organisation:Assist with Kitchen pack down and cleaningalways ensuring a clean and organised environment.
  • Quality Control:Ensure food safety, hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times in the kitchen, in compliance with health and safety regulations. Monitor food quality to ensure consistency in flavour and presentation.
  • Inventory and Ordering:Alongside the Exec Chef, monitor inventory levels, order supplies and manage food storage. Work with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing without compromising on quality.
  • Cost Control:Help manage food costs, portion control and minimise waste to ensure the kitchen operates within budget.

To be successful in this role you will be
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or similar qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar kitchen environment.
  • Punctual and available to work flexible hours.
  • Experience in high-volume, fast-paced kitchens
  • Full Australian working rights.
  • Ready for immediate start
