About us:
The Supply and Procurement team reports through the Chief Finance Officer (CFO), Assets and Commercial Services. The team plays an integral role in the effective management of the supply chain, sourcing and procurement for the Hospital and Health Service (HHS). The team is responsible to deliver optimal imprest and purchasing outcomes and provide strategic advice and oversight of all imprest and purchasing undertaken with the HHS. We support the operations in ensuring they meet compliance and probity guidelines and provide support and education to ensure everyone is accountable for their responsibilities within the HHS.
About the role:
The Purchasing Officer will work within a small team of Purchasing Officers in the efficient delivery of transactional purchasing activity for Central Queensland Health and Hospital Services (CQHHS).
About you:
- While not mandatory, experience in the use of S4Hana or similar operating systems would be highly desirable.
- Well-developed understanding of the procurement function and accountabilities within a complex organisation.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in S4Hana or similar operating system.
- High level of communication and negotiation skills.
- Capacity to contribute to a skilled and service-oriented team environment.
Total remuneration value of up to $97,656 is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $38.81 - $43.16 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
