Bring Your Customer Experience To a New IndustryWe're looking for someone who knows how to work with customers — whether that's in retail, trades, logistics, hospitality, or manufacturing — and is ready to apply their experience in a new setting.As the first point of contact at our busy Rockhampton branch, you'll be the person our customers count on to get the right gear for the job.
You don't need to come from the equipment hire industry — we'll train you.
What matters is that you know how to solve problems, keep things moving, and work well with others.What You'll DoWork directly with customers at the counter, over the phone, and via emailCreate quotes and hire schedules, raise purchase orders and invoicesCoordinate equipment logistics — deliveries, transfers, pickups, breakdownsPitch in with hands-on help in the yard if needed (some physical work involved)What You'll Bring To The RoleProven customer service experience in a fast-paced or hands-on environmentConfident with basic computer tasks (Outlook, Word, Excel)Willing to learn about our equipment and how it's used on siteGood communicator, able to stay calm under pressure and prioritise competing tasksIf you've worked in industries like construction, trades, mining, warehousing, transport, or similar, we'd like to hear from you.Looking for more reasons to join Coates?
