Working for a multi-national electronics and appliances manufacturer and distributor that has a passion for making life easier for its customers. The firm sells refrigerators, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, television and air conditioning units.
About the roleAs a Customer Service Officer, you will work with our client's customers on enquiries and solutions for incidents that they may have. You will be the voice of the company when helping with customers. Responsibilities will include:
- Handling escalated customer complaints and inquiries from various channels.
- Providing and coordinating solution services to customers.
- Following the warranties and returns policy to provide good customer outcomes.
- Carry out administrative duties such as data entry and follow up calls.
- Maintain and update customer records in the system, including notes about interactions.
- High level of decision making in resolving customer complaints efficiently with minimal customer effort and in a timely manner.
- 3+ years' experience in a customer service, call centre.
- A confident, calm and respectful negotiator who is able to work as part of a team as well as operate with little supervision.
- Proven experience dealing with difficult customers and conflict resolution.
- Experience in practical application of the ACL (Australian Consumer Law) in either a retail or manufacturer environment (highly desirable).
- High level of written and verbal English.
