The Kick-off Story: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has awarded Football Australia hosting rights for the 2026 edition of the AFC Women's Asian Cup. This marks Australia's second time hosting the event, after previously staging it in 2006, and follows the success of co-hosting the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.

You will be part of a Local Organising Committee (LOC), which has been established for the sole purpose of delivering the 2026 edition of the AFC Women's Asian Cup in Australia. This prestigious event will bring together 12 nations in a tournament structured into three groups of four. We are eager to create another tournament that celebrates women's football and multicultural Australia and also delivers legacy outcomes for football and Australian society more broadly.

Please note that this role is fixed term starting in November 2025 until March 2026. Although, this is a fixed term contract role. Consideration can be made for the role to be a contractor/sole trader.

• Responsible for the successful planning and ensuring a successful delivery of accreditation services and operations in Australia for the AFC Women's Asian Cup 2026
• Contributing to the success of the tournament by delivering the accreditation and access programme on time and to the required standards.
• Manage the client accreditation registration process
• Work closely with safety and security to guarantee the quality of information, protection of data and operations.
• Manage the accreditation centres operations and access.
• Develop and implement accreditation manuals, procedures and operations under guidance of AFC Accreditation and Access Lead and LOC Accreditation Manager.
• Manage the Accreditation Centre operations from logistics, FFE and technology.
• Build successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Deliver training to ACR staff, safety & security staff and volunteers.
• Manage volunteer team and rostering
• Managing the AD card delivery & distribution as per Accreditation Operations Plan
• Finalise the requirements for the Access Control Boards and ensure they are displayed at every Accreditation checkpoint.
• Ensure all Zoning maps and client flow are finalised.
• Supporting LOC in producing AD cards.
• Producing AD cards and performing quality assurance.
• Manage the accreditation team in all operations and client process where required

• Background and experience in accreditation and/or working in Venue Management or at Events.
• Understanding of accreditation and access management operations and its integration in accreditation within Venue Operations.
• Knowledge of Venue Operations (Stadium)
• Knowledge of developing procedures and policies for access at venues and translating these into effective operational delivery.
• Ability to manage and to operate in a dynamic working environment, handling multiple projects concurrently and under pressure
• Experience in working in a team environment and collaborating across a range of operational areas.
• Strong interpersonal and people management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent public speaking skills.
• Understanding of project management within a venue or major event environment with differing stakeholders.
• Responds flexibly and communicates openly to shifting demands and priorities.
• IT skills including MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio & MS Project) and comfortable with using other IT programmes (MS Teams, Smartsheet, SharePoint)
• High level of flexibility to meet sometimes rapidly changing priorities and variable working duties
• Ability to sustain high level performance and problem solving with limited supervision
• Demonstrated ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
