The Role – Built for Hunters
This isn't a desk job. This is field sales. We're looking for a Business Development Manager who thrives on activity, lives for the chase, and is driven to close. You'll be out in the market, making calls, setting meetings, and building a strong pipeline of new clients.
Your focus? Winning new business across Sea, Air, and Road Freight. You'll back yourself with consistent activity, daily calls, meetings, and site visits while logging and tracking every step to prove results. This is about volume, hustle, and building long-term wins.
What You'll Do
- Drive sales activity daily: prospecting, cold calling, setting meetings, and closing deals.
- Build, track, and grow your pipeline with call and meeting logs.
- Represent KTL on the road, in boardrooms, and at networking events.
- Develop tailored freight solutions that add value, not just cut price.
- Smash activity targets and exceed revenue goals with a hunter's mindset.
- Proven success in freight forwarding sales is preferred, but we would consider applications without this experience.
- A hunter mentality, persistent, competitive, and driven.
- Confidence to own the full sales cycle from lead to close.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to think like a business owner.
- Uncapped commissions, your activity drives your earnings.
