We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Business Development Representative in Lidcombe.

About the role:

To maintain and build successful business relationships with new and existing partners, increase sales volume by maintaining best practise in customer service.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Be able to perform a strategic plan in the development of new business.
  • Be able to present to Senior Management of a vendor to win new business.
  • Build effective relationships with key accounts through effective account management tools. (Become their trusted advisor)
  • To report on a monthly/quarterly basis to the team on the development of market, by highlighting strengths, weakness, opportunities, and threats
  • Be able to present to Senior Management Executives as required.
  • Be able to be proactive in daily call outs activities.
  • Thorough understanding of Hardware, Software and Services
  • Increase sales volume from key accounts as allocated but also increase the breadth of trading base.
  • Be able to capitalise on any sales opportunities and be aware of any weaknesses in the sales process with key accounts.

Skills and Experience:

  • Have completed TAFE qualifications or university graduate preferably with a major in IT; and/or 2 or more years' experience in a similar role, whether it be through another distributor, vendor, or reseller.
  • A current and valid driver's license is required, and the use of your own personal motor vehicle that is well maintained/serviced and comprehensively insured are essential
