Team Coordinator role at Containers for Change QLD (COEX)

COEX is a not-for-profit organisation appointed to manage and grow Queensland's Containers for Change. Our vision is "no container goes to waste." Since 2018 we've kept more than 10 billion containers out of landfill and returned more than $1 billion in 10-cent refunds to households, charities and community groups. We are committed to driving positive environmental, social and economic impacts and invest in innovative solutions to ensure all can access the program benefits.

  • Support and guide new site applicants through the application process.
  • Coordinate and track leads, keeping accurate records and ensuring timely progression.
  • Assist the team in drafting and compiling documentation.
  • Respond to inbox enquiries.
The Role

You'll be the crucial link between our external partners and the COEX team responsible for expanding the Containers for Change network. Reporting to the Acquisition Manager, you'll ensure every applicant experiences exceptional support so new sites come on board smoothly.

You will bring
  • Min 2-3 years' experience in a similar coordination, customer-oriented support role.
  • Experience supporting internal teams with competing priorities.
  • Experience as the first point of contact for external customers, partners, suppliers, etc.
  • Experience in managing processes in a high-volume, detail-driven setting.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build rapport easily.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Eligibility to hold a Blue Card.
