We have an exciting opportunity for an Sustainability Coordinator to join our Sustainability team in our Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne office on a 12 month contract.

Reporting directly to the Lead Governance & Planning, you will be responsible Coordinating and supporting the implementation of public relations strategies that align with APA's business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and supporting the implementation of public relations strategies that align with APA's business strategy.
  • Providing comprehensive Public Relations and editorial support on a daily basis.
  • Interacting with various stakeholders, including the press, consultants, business analysts, customers, and other groups influencing public opinion to effectively convey APA's message
  • Assisting in establishing and maintaining relationships with media, responding to media inquiries, and conducting proactive media outreach.
  • Supporting the management of the editorial calendar to maximize media coverage and develop proactive ideas for media outreach.
  • Coordinating the writing, distribution, and pitching of press releases specific to APA's operations and objectives.

Your background
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and present ideas clearly.
  • Understanding of APA's business strategy and objectives.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Relationship-building skills, particularly with media and public relations entities.
  • Ability to coordinate and support various activities within the department.
