The Opportunity:
This is an opportunity for an environmental sustainability specialist to join a growing team and work with existing staff across a broad range of projects.
The role will be within our Approvals and Assessments team and will include:
- Approvals and impact assessment;
- Audit and compliance;
- Monitoring and Management;
- Closure; and
- Opportunities to contribute to GIS tasks.
About You:
A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, preferably in environmental science or a related discipline.
You should have 3-5 years' experience across various industries and demonstrated expertise in project approvals, environmental impact assessments, statutory advice, management plans, and mine closure.
Experience working within a consultancy or on-site is advantageous, but not essential. Audit qualifications will also be beneficial.
You should have excellent oral and written skills and be able to coordinate complex technical assessments, records, and written reports.
Expertise in dealing with environmental and mining approvals as well as mine closure is essential.
Experience with GIS is an advantage.
