Are you a nurturing soul with a passion for leading and inspiring others in an environment that feels like a true home away from home?
At Mayfield Early Education Brose Street, we're searching for a dedicated Part‑Time Lead Educator to join our close‑knit team. If you're ready to create joyful, meaningful experiences for children while growing your own career in an industry where every day is a day to play and no two days are ever the same, we'd love to welcome you into our family.
Why You'll Love Brose Street
We're more than just an Early Education centre — we're a supportive, well‑established community where children, families, and educators truly thrive together.
Our centre in White Rock is warm, welcoming, and designed to spark curiosity and creativity. Here, you're not just joining a workplace; you're joining a team that feels like family, where management is genuinely supportive, your ideas are valued, and your growth matters to us as much as it does to you.
What Makes This Role Special
As our Lead Educator, you'll be at the heart of our centre culture:
- Inspire and Lead: Guide, mentor, and motivate a passionate team of educators.
- Create & Grow: Design and deliver engaging programs that support each child's learning and development.
- Celebrate Every Day: Enjoy a role where laughter and play are part of your daily work.
- Connect Deeply: Build lasting relationships with families and your team, creating a strong sense of belonging.
- Shape the Future: Be part of an industry where opportunities to upskill, gain new qualifications, and progress your career are endless.
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or ACECQA‑approved equivalent) — or be actively working toward it
- Valid Blue Card/WWCC and current mandatory certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- A passion for making every day special for every child
- A team‑player attitude and a love for learning
- Availability for shifts Monday to Friday 6:00 - 6:00pm
At Mayfield, we look after the people who care for our little legends:
- Supportive management & awesome team spirit - you'll never feel like "just a number" here
- Career pathways & professional development - from monthly leadership series to nationally recognised traineeships (Cert III, Diploma, Bachelor or even Management level)
- Plenty of room to grow - we'll support you if you're ready to take the next step in your career
- Reward & Recognition programs - we see you; we value you, and we celebrate your achievements
- Generous enrolment discounts for your own children across any Mayfield centre
- Above Award rates - we reward your experience and dedication
- 10% wage uplift through the Educator Retention Grant
- Access to wellbeing support for you and your family through our partnership with Sonder
