Healthcare Professional Opportunity

This is your chance to contribute to the vision of creating pathways to better health for North West communities.

As a member of our highly motivated team, you will be based at Mount Isa Hospital and work in anaesthetic services within the North West Hospital and Health Service.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will provide anaesthetic services to patients across various specialties including obstetrics and regional anaesthesia.
  • You will develop areas of clinical interest to you within anaesthesia, ICU, perioperative medicine, pain management, medical education, and wellbeing.
  • You will participate in quality improvement opportunities to support continued improvement of health services.
Requirements
  1. You must have skills in epidurals for delivery suite and anaesthetics for obstetrics.
  2. A scope of Practice in paediatric anaesthesia (5 years or younger) is desirable.
  3. You must be a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA).
  4. You must be currently registered with/or eligible for registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia.
