OverviewWe are seeking committed trauma management specialists to support a diverse range of clients. Converge International is an Australian-owned organisation delivering health and wellbeing and risk management solutions, including Employee Assistance Programs, crisis response, and consulting services. This role provides Rapid Response Services to Converge International's customers during incidents or organisational change, using Psychological First Aid and trauma-informed approaches, and may include EAP and Training/Consulting services.
Responsibilities- Provide Rapid Response Services (including critical incidents, planned support, rapid connect, disaster response, and incident support forums).
- Apply primary intervention models such as Psychological First Aid, stepped care, and referral pathways.
- Support client organisations during incidents or organisational change and identify themes, recommendations, or internal process improvements.
- Deliver triage, one-on-one trauma support, and group sessions; may deliver EAP and Training/Consulting services.
- Registered Psychologist or Social Worker with relevant clinical experience.
- Minimum 3 years trauma management and/or relevant consultancy experience.
- Experience in psychosocial interventions, support and counselling; ability to assess workplace issues and provide solution-focused advice to achieve outcomes.
- Excellent time management, report writing, and a proactive "can do" attitude.
- Experience in delivering People Assist services (EAP, RRS).
- High-level negotiation and facilitation skills; ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders.
- Desire to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment and a passion for helping people.
- 5 years of relevant experience as psychologist or social worker is desirable; training in Psychological First Aid will be provided.
