We're on the hunt to find a talented Chef de Partie to join our Manly Brew Pub team on a Casual basis.

Overview

Our Role: Up to approximately 25 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
  • Kitchen Management: Contribute to the kitchen operations, ensuring organization, cleanliness, and efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Monitor the taste, texture, and presentation of dishes to maintain the highest culinary standards.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in inventory control, including ordering and stock rotation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of orders.
  • Creativity: Contribute to menu development and special offerings, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
  • Safety and Hygiene: Follow strict food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and clean kitchen environment.
You
  • Proven experience working in quality, fast-paced casual dining kitchens.
  • Cert III or higher with at least 2 years full-time work experience as a CDP is desirable.
  • Manage time effectively, have an eye for detail and work well independently.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Can-do attitude and positive approach to your work.
