About the Company

Join a highly regarded national manufacturer and distributor of LV electrical and industrial automation products, trusted across Australia. We're looking for a driven Business Development Manager to grow our Brisbane and North Queensland.

The Opportunity

You'll be at the forefront of promoting our cutting-edge solutions, which include industrial automation, motors, motor control, and LV power distribution. You'll have the chance to connect with key clients, including Industrial Contractors, OEMs, System Integrators, and large End Users, to drive new business and nurture existing relationships.

If you have a solid background in industrial automation or electrical sales, thrive on autonomy, and are motivated by ownership of your role, this position is for you.

What You'll Do

  1. Develop and execute dynamic sales action plans in line with the state strategy.
  2. Embrace your hunter mentality by researching and identifying new prospects while maintaining and growing key accounts.
  3. Build strong relationships with senior-level decision-makers.
  4. Follow a structured sales process to qualify, develop, and close customer opportunities.
  5. Collaborate with both local and national teams to ensure the best resources are allocated to your clients.
  6. Provide accurate and up-to-date information to management via the CRM.
  7. Attend industry events for business development, networking, and market insights.

About You

  1. Electrical trade or engineering qualifications are preferred but not essential.
  2. Proven sales experience with a strong background in industrial automation or electrical sales.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. You're a team player, eager to learn and create customer-centric solutions.
