Role Purpose

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Project Manager to lead the local implementation of the Adult Survivors Program, a transformative initiative in response to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. This role supports the delivery of coordinated, trauma-informed services for adults living with the long-term effects of childhood abuse, especially those with complex trauma requiring mental health and alcohol and other drug (AOD) support.

Contract details: Temporary contract until June 28th 2026, Monday to Friday hours (8:00–4:30 pm or 8:30–5:00 pm).

Your Impact

In this pivotal position, you will:

  • Lead and oversee the implementation of a sustainable, integrated local model of care aligned to NSW Health's statewide framework.
  • Provide strategic governance and project oversight, including planning, delivery, reporting, and evaluation.
  • Coordinate meaningful engagement across executive, clinical, community, and government stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Clinical Coordinator – Adult Survivors Program and the Violence, Abuse and Neglect (VAN) leadership team.
  • Champion the embedding of trauma-informed, person-centred care across our services.
  • Ensure alignment with the findings of the statewide pilot evaluation and drive continuous improvement.
About You

You bring a values-based leadership approach and:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and the ability to meet the Essential Requirements outlined in the position description.
  • A current NSW Driver's Licence and flexibility to travel across the Central Coast as needed.
  • Experience leading cross-sector projects in health, community services, or related areas.
  • Deep understanding of trauma-informed practice and the needs of people accessing mental health or AOD support.
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to improving outcomes for survivors and vulnerable communities.
