We are seeking an experienced and compassionate **Allied Health Clinician** to join the **Adult Survivors Program (ASP)**, a new, state-wide NSW Health initiative aimed at improving outcomes for adult survivors of child sexual abuse. The ASP provides critical services to adult survivors with complex needs, including mental health and alcohol & other drug concerns, and works in partnership with health professionals and community support services to deliver integrated care.
In this role, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering high-quality clinical interventions and providing strategic leadership. You will work directly with adult survivors to address mental health, substance use, and trauma-related challenges, while also providing consultative support to NSW Health professionals and partner services.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Direct Clinical Care**: Provide specialised clinical services to adult survivors of child sexual abuse with complex needs related to mental health, alcohol & other drugs, and trauma.
- **Consultation & Coordination**: Offer expert consultation, care coordination, and collaborative interventions to ensure high-quality care and outcomes for survivors.
- **Capacity Building & Leadership**: Lead and support capacity-building initiatives for NSW Health professionals and external partners to enhance their understanding of complex trauma and improve service delivery.
- **Service Development**: Actively identify gaps and opportunities for practice improvement and service development across Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol, and Violence, Abuse, and Neglect (VAN) services.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Lead initiatives for continuous improvement by integrating evidence-based practices and supporting the delivery of somatic and sensory interventions to address complex trauma.
- **Collaborative Care**: Work closely with managers and colleagues across VAN Services and other sectors to facilitate integrated, trauma-informed, and culturally safe care.

- Counsellor level 4
- Occupational Therapist Level 4
- Social Worker level 4

**About You**
- Bachelors degree in a health related field such as Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Counselling and membership of Australian Association of Social Work (Social Work); Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (Occupational Therapy); or Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia or Australian Counselling Association (Counselling).
- An eligible NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel for work.
- Substantial demonstrated experience in and knowledge of clinical practice pertaining to adult survivors of child sexual abuse who have complex needs, with experience using somatic and sensory approaches, and a minimum of 3 years clinical experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of the issues involved in working with adult survivor clients and the barriers that adult survivors face when trying to access trauma-specific, culturally safe health care.
