Overview

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and solutions-driven Operations Manager with excellent analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills to take ownership of our local ride-hailing operations.

About The Role

Your role will have a direct and tangible impact through continuous improvement of the driver and rider experience by strengthening Bolt's value proposition in the marketplace by achieving industry-leading supply availability, pricing, and quality.

What's more, from a succession perspective, you'll work closely with the Country Manager. You will be involved in the definition and implementation of the strategy of the market & held a key strategic position in the management of the Canadian team.

Your daily adventures will include:
  • Together with the Canada Country Manager, designing and executing strategies for launching and growing our business
  • Developing and nurturing critical relationships that will grow our business (stakeholders include: drivers; fleet owners; unions; regulators; local communities etc.)
  • Overseeing the optimization of local operational processes and procedures
  • Developing complex analytical models and reporting systems
  • Taking ownership of Bolt's growth by ensuring both local operations and HQ teams support and collaborate actively with each other to meet business objectives
  • Advocating and elevating Bolt's brand, product and service whilst navigating through regulatory matters and local policies within the transportation and tech industry
  • Analyzing data to optimize Bolt's marketplace health for drivers and riders
About you
  • You have 2+ years of experience in an operations management or general management role
  • You have 4+ years of experience in an analytical and/or entrepreneurial position
  • You are a strong leader and collaborator with excellent English and French negotiation and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • You are a hustler, not stopping after several obstacles a day
  • You are passionate about new technologies and ride-hailing
  • You are highly analytical and have a data-driven mindset with excellent Excel skills
  • You have a strong sense of ownership with a hands-on approach
  • You are comfortable with developing analytical and decision frameworks to support your strategies and decisions
