Responsibilities- System Management: Configure, administer, and maintain the aPay payroll system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with legislation and policies.
- Issue Resolution: Research, triage, and resolve payroll system issues promptly, minimising operational disruptions.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders to design, scope, and deliver payroll system enhancements and new capabilities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, and IT teams to manage project risks, issues, and decisions related to payroll systems.
- You are an experienced payroll systems professional with strong technical skills in aPay (Ascender/Dayforce), possessing excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for optimising payroll processes in complex organisational environments.
- Have 3 or more years of experience configuring and administering payroll and awards systems.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Dayforce system building blocks and their alignment with industrial instruments.
- Possess strong analytical skills and experience in requirements gathering, design, and testing of payroll solutions.
- Have excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including senior management.
