Service Stream's Utilities division are currently seeking a Work Allocator to join our Network Services team.

Nature of position: 5 Months / Fixed-Term Contract ending 31 January 2026

Location: Mornington, Hobart, Tasmania. (Flexible work arrangements available)

Reporting Line: Team Leader

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and drive field staff to ensure all work orders are handled end-to-end and within regulatory time frames
  • Facilitate and manage all aspects of workforce scheduling, planning and allocation using Excel and other relevant systems
  • Conduct regular outbound calls to customers and other parties
  • Identify and consolidate data from the client in order to plan and allocate work orders
  • Maintain field resource leave requests to ensure adequate resourcing
  • Working efficiently with Service Stream and client systems and databases
  • Ensure all work performed is in accordance with contractual quality and safety requirements to company standards and to the satisfaction of the customer
  • Undertake and complete any other duties as requested by Team Leader / Manager
  • Strong focus on servicing the client's expectations

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 12 months experience in work order management & scheduling
  • Knowledge of the electricity industry in Australia preferred.
  • Professional and confident speaking with customers and client
  • Basic to medium competency level using MS Office suite: Excel, Outlook (Excel knowledge essential)
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills
  • High level attention to detail
