Senior Citrix Engineer

Datacom is seeking a Senior Systems Citrix Engineer to join our specialist support and projects team. You will interact directly with customers and other Datacom teams to support technology-based solutions. You will be responsible for the support of Citrix environments within contracted time frames and service level agreements. This role involves remote support and ad-hoc onsite visits when required, and participation in an on-call roster for after-hours support. You will also be responsible for requirements gathering and working on Citrix and NetScaler projects for our customers.

Our offices are based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. We support a hybrid mix of working in the office and from home for work/life balance.

Please note that due to customer requirements, this role requires Australian Citizenship and eligibility to undertake a Federal Government NV1 Security Clearance.

You will be part of our extensive technical operations team, providing technical maintenance and support services within agreed service levels, while maintaining technical documentation. You will use tools and processes to deliver services to customers to ensure service level agreements are met, proactively managing their infrastructure and driving service process improvement. You will scope and work on Citrix and NetScaler projects and share your knowledge through coaching others in the team.

To be successful in this role you will have at least 5 years' experience as a Senior System Engineer with expertise in Citrix and NetScaler technologies. Experience supporting Windows Server, infrastructure applications, and cloud technologies is also required.

• Citrix DaaS/Virtual Apps and Desktops Administration and configuration
• Citrix NetScaler Administration and configuration
• User profile management via UPM, FSLogix, and Ivanti DesktopNow
• Windows Server Systems Administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Patch Management
• Knowledge of Microsoft Server technology products
• Experience with public cloud environments (Azure and AWS)
• Managing virtual environments using VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V
• Backup and disaster recovery methodologies using tools such as Veeam, NetBackup and CommVault

Your customer focus and communication skills, and ability to develop and maintain productive internal and external relationships, partnerships and networks are important. Demonstrated troubleshooting, problem-solving experience, understanding of public cloud platforms and agile operations are valued.
