Senior Citrix Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Citrix Engineer to join our team, responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services within agreed service levels.

This role involves remote support and occasional onsite visits when required, as well as participation in an on-call roster for after-hours support.

You will be responsible for the support of Citrix environments within contracted time frames and service level agreements, as well as requirements gathering and working on Citrix and NetScaler projects for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective technical support services within agreed service levels
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation
  • Deliver high-quality services to clients to ensure service level agreements are met
  • Proactively manage client infrastructure and drive process improvement initiatives
  • Scope and work on Citrix and NetScaler projects
  • Coach and mentor junior team members
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 5 years' experience as a Senior System Engineer with expertise in Citrix and NetScaler technologies
  • Experience supporting Windows Server, infrastructure applications, and cloud technologies
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Server technology products
  • Experience with public cloud environments (Azure and AWS)
  • Ability to manage virtual environments using VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery methodologies using tools such as Veeam, NetBackup, and CommVault
