We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our friendly team as Events Executive. This is a full-time position based in Mascot, NSW.

Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Must have a thorough understanding of Branksome Hotel's business strategy and brand positioning and to effectively communicate this in the market.
  • Keep up to date with the hotel's services and new developments and monitor industry trends and market intelligence.
  • Actively participate in client familiarisation trips, site inspections, sales trips, and roadshows.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of events.
  • Assist with maintaining client databases.
  • Prepare proposals for conferences, catering, corporate events, social events, and residential conferences.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to all phone, email, and in-person enquiries.
  • Daily tracking of Activity/Traces reports.
  • Evaluate demand by recording enquiries and lost/declined business.
  • Provide top notch customer service to ensure guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Provide personalised service and handle any complaints, comments, or compliments.
  • General administrative tasks, as required.
We are looking for someone with:
  • Proven experience in events management ideally within a reputable hospitality industry.
  • Ability to adapt to growth and change within the business.
  • Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Drive to achieve results.
  • Excellent interpersonal and business retention skills.
  • Attention to details and time management abilities.
  • Excellent personal and professional presentation.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Office.
  • Must be available to work on weekends as needed.
  • Full work rights in Australia.
