The role
Cockburn Cement currently has an opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong decision-making ability to join the team at our Kwinana site in Western Australia in a 12-month fixed-term, full-time role on a weekly rotating roster, alternating morning and afternoon shifts. Mornings are from 5:30am to 1:30pm and afternoons from 1:30pm to 9:30pm, Monday to Friday only.
Our Plant Operators safely and correctly operate forklifts within a warehouse facility, as well as state-of-the-art high-speed cement and lime packaging equipment.

Responsibilities- Ensure safety, health, and environment standards are maintained.
- Maintain safe and correct execution of product sampling and testing.
- Ensure adequate stock holding across the operation for consumables and finished products.
- Liaise with the Customer Service team to ensure customer orders are met.
- Undertake housekeeping, basic maintenance, and general labor duties.
- Report incidents and hazards to the supervisor.
- High Risk Work Licence – LF.
- SAP, LDMS, & AMPLA experience is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in operating mobile plant and/or heavy equipment.
- Ability to operate state-of-the-art high-speed automated equipment.
- Safe operation of a forklift to load packaged materials onto customer vehicles.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Strong commitment to health and safety.
