Job Description

As a maintenance specialist, you will be responsible for providing repairs and maintenance services to our partners across multiple sites in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs.

The role involves working independently, with minimal supervision, to proactively anticipate and resolve issues. You will be managing your works via a planned preventative and reactive maintenance program with the support of our purpose-built systems and the wider team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing repairs and maintenance services to our partners.
  • Working across multiple disciplines, including carpentry, joinery, shopfitting, plastering, painting, and tiling.
  • Working without supervision to proactively anticipate and resolve issues.
  • Being an effective communicator and developing strong partnerships.
  • Being conversant with OHS guidelines and experienced in maintaining safe workplaces.
  • Working within self-managed teams.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous construction or metal trades experience.
  • Proven experience working under limited supervision.
  • Strong building fabrication knowledge.
  • A current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.

The position requires the successful candidate to complete a pre-employment medical.
