Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and repair industrial bins and waste equipment
  • Cut, shape, join, and repair metal components using MIG welding techniques
  • Weld bins from drawing and design specifications with precision and accuracy
  • Interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure job requirements are met
  • Operate drills, presses, metal cutting machinery, and hand tools
  • Examine finished welded products and perform smoothing, cleaning, polishing, grinding, and chiselling as required

Requirements:

  • Experience in metal fabrication, boilermaking, or vehicle body building
  • MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Able to read and interpret drawings and job specifications
  • Hold a current drivers' licence and possess reliable transport
  • Flexible to work Saturdays and overtime where required
  • Able to identify and resolve mechanical problems
  • A strong safety-focused work ethic

Job Summary:

The role involves the fabrication and maintenance of industrial steel bins. As a skilled welder, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the required standards.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and repair industrial bins and waste equipment

Qualifications:

• Current drivers' licence and possession of reliable transport
• Flexibility to work Saturdays and overtime where required
