Overview

We're currently partnering with a leading manufacturer in the personal care industry, who are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a dynamic role within a growing organisation that's known for innovation, sustainability, and quality.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this role is all about ensuring raw materials and packaging items are sourced, managed, and delivered in line with production demands. You'll play a key part in keeping supply chains running smoothly while building strong supplier relationships and driving cost efficiencies.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with suppliers to manage raw materials and packaging requirements
  • Monitor stock and generate purchase orders using MRP systems
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to secure the best outcomes
  • Work closely with production planning to align deliveries with schedules
  • Maintain accurate records of suppliers, specs, and materials
  • Resolve supplier non-conformance issues and manage credit notes
  • Source new suppliers and obtain quotations as required
  • Conduct annual supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
About You
  • 4+ years' experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles
  • Strong knowledge of MRP systems (SAP Business One and/or NetSuite highly regarded)
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous contract manufacturing experience is an advantage
