About the Opportunity

We're on the hunt for a detail-driven, Procurement Specialist to join our tight-knit team in Mount Kuring-Gai. If you love keeping things organised, negotiating like a pro, and making sure stock flows without a hitch, this could be your next move.

This role reports to the Planning & Procurement Manager and plays a key part in coordinating the supply and inventory of personal care raw materials and packaging items in line with our production schedule and forecast demands.

What you'll be doing:

  • Coordinate with suppliers to procure raw materials and packaging as per production requirements and work instructions
  • Use our MRP system to monitor stock, generate purchase orders, and ensure timely deliveries
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to get the best deals for the company
  • Work closely with the Production Planner to align deliveries with the production plan
  • Maintain accurate records of raw materials, packaging specs, and alternative suppliers
  • Manage credit notes and supplier non-conformance issues in collaboration with the Quality Team
  • Source new suppliers and request quotations as needed to meet operational requirements
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate deliveries to prevent shortages or excess inventory
  • Conduct annual supplier audits in line with SOPs to ensure compliance with quality standards

Who we're looking for:

  • At least 4+ years' experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles
  • Previous Contract manufacturing experience is a bonus.
  • Strong knowledge of MRP systems, ideally SAP Business One and/or NetSuite
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier relationship skills
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
