Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Support end-to-end procurement processes in line with company policies.
  • Assist with purchase orders, vendor on-boarding, and maintaining approved supplier records.
  • Conduct supplier research and negotiations to secure cost-effective, quality supply.
  • Monitor supplier performance and coordinate regular review sessions.
  • Ensure all procurement activity complies with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Proactively identify procurement risks and escalate them as needed.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline operations.
  • Generate procurement reports and respond to procurement-related inquiries.
  • Provide support for strategic procurement initiatives and sourcing strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Purchasing Officer to ensure efficient procurement operations.
  • Promote and uphold company safety standards and contribute to a positive safety culture.
  • Ensure quality standards are met and report any non-compliance.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in procurement and thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment. You're organised, analytic, and confident working across teams and suppliers to support purchasing, compliance, and process improvement. Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks are essential. You're proactive in resolving supplier issues, comfortable using procurement systems, and able to adapt to a dynamic, evolving business. Experience in a similar procurement role is required, and a qualification in procurement or a related field is highly regarded.
