Overview

Our client, an international supplier of mining and industrial goods, is seeking a sales and procurement manager who will be the backbone of their operations. Based in Welshpool, you will be working with a great team where no two days are the same.

Responsibilities
  • Be an integral point of contact for customers, building strong relationships
  • Address customer needs, respond to inquiries, and follow up with vendors promptly
  • Manage multiple jobs, ensuring smooth invoicing, paperwork, and logistics
  • Quickly resolve customer conflicts with effective solutions
  • Suggest actions to improve sales and identify growth opportunities
  • Ensure adherence to regulations, maintain a safe work environment
  • No cold calling required; benefit from a solid established client base
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years in customer service or project management
  • A working knowledge of logistics or freight forwarding would be beneficial
  • Expertise in MS Office
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively
  • Highly motivated, committed, and self-disciplined
  • BSc/BA in Business is preferred
  • First Aid certification is a plus
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Enjoys dynamic work and thrives in a team-oriented environment
