Clinical Manager, Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) - Eastern Suburbs Mental Health Service

Remuneration: $119,206.00 - $147,108.00 per annum, plus superannuation

What you'll be doing
  • Lead and manage an innovative team within CAMHS, with a focus on recovery-oriented, trauma-focused, and strengths-based approaches that incorporate consumer collaboration in care planning.
  • Provide high-level guidance, leadership, and strategic management of staff, resources, and services, with a strong emphasis on building team capability and continuous improvement.
  • Engage, enable, and manage teams through effective interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement at all organisational levels.
  • Initiate, lead, complete, and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluations, applying evidence-based practice within mental health.
Qualifications and Selection Criteria
  • Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional learning. Suitable professional qualifications include Social Work (AASW eligible), Occupational Therapy (AHPRA registered), Registered Nurse (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia), or Senior Psychologist (4-year degree in Psychology with AHPRA), or Senior Clinical Psychologist (AHPRA with endorsement in Clinical Psychology and relevant master's degree and experience).
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in management and delivery of health care services, particularly in a complex child and adolescent community mental health setting.
  • Ability to provide leadership of staff, resources, and services with a focus on team capability and continuous improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, decision-making, and advocacy skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience initiating and leading quality improvement initiatives and applying evidence-based practice in mental health.
  • Current NSW Driver's License or willingness to travel; travel to other sites in the district may be required.
