
Clinical Care Manager

Working closely with the Clinical Care Coordinator and clinical/care staff you will be responsible for delivering resident-centric care in a timely and compassionate manner which enables residents to make choices and have control over their support needs.
Whilst leading and guiding the team, you will welcome new and prospective residents and their families to the facility, you will also be responsible for;
- generating care plans,
- conducting clinical assessments,
- monitor medication management,
- lead AN-AAC submissions, whilst ensuring that information is accurately recorded in accordance with all organisational and legislative requirements (AN-AAC),
- resident records and staff time recording,
- responsible for management and monitoring the handling of comments and complaints in collaboration with the Home Manager in a timely and resolution focused manner.
Your main duties
- Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing Aged Care;
- Knowledge of the Australian National Aged Care Classification (ANACC) funding model;
About you
- Registered Nurse with current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
- Demonstrated Aged Care experience as a Registered Nurse;
- Experience in managing the provision of quality clinical care in a highly regulated environment;
- A commitment to work within and promote Calvary's Mission, Vision and Values;
- Commitment to contemporary aged care nursing practice;
- Ability to support and lead the multi-disciplinary team;
- Strong clinical skills and the ability and desire to coach and mentor others, including clinical staff;
- Ability to prioritise multiple conflicting tasks and competing deadlines within a fast-paced environment;
- Effective verbal and written communication skills;
- Demonstrated alignment with the philosophy of resident focused care which supports dignity, independence and informed consultative decision making;
