Administration Officer – Recovery & Performance
- $81,617 per annum + 12% superannuation
- Full time fixed term opportunity until 28th February 2026
- Geelong based role (hybrid work from home – 3 days a week in office)

About the role
The Recovery & Performance (R&P) Team is responsible for managing the quality and performance of providers who deliver treatment and support services to injured workers. R & P work closely with stakeholders such as allied health and medical practitioners, including clinicians who undertake independent medical examinations.
The Administrative Officer will be responsible for managing the Provider Inbox, where stakeholders email queries relating to WorkSafe billing, policy and process. The role will also provide admin support to R & P team members who are responsible for the recruitment and management of clinicians on the WorkSafe IME panel.
Key accountabilities include
- Daily management of Provider Inbox, responding to queries, escalating where needed, or referring to Subject Matter Experts (SME) for resolution.
- Manage all customer interactions with a client centric, empathetic and responsive approach.
- Support Officers and Coordinators to manage all administrative aspects of IME recruitment and ongoing management of the IME panel ensuring data integrity, maintaining appropriate documentation
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to organise and set meetings, document and distribute meeting agendas and minutes where required.
- Identify and implement administrative initiatives to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of IME recruitment and management processes.
- Providing administrative support to the team and senior management as required

About you
You are an exceptional administration professional, who ideally has experience working in the medical or compensable market. You have the ability to work autonomously prioritise and exercise discretion. Your written and verbal communication skills are highly developed, and your strong stakeholder management skills provide you with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Additionally you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple activities utilising time management, prioritisation and organisational skills
- Superior written, verbal and telephone communication skills
- Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and Outlook
- High level of keyboard accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience in preparation of agendas, minutes, reports and presentation, and diary management
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to confidently and professionally liaise with diverse client/stakeholder groups at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to exhibit tact and be proactive in the handling of complaints and stakeholder issues
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
