
Technical Sales Engineer

Job Description :
The Technical Sales Support will collaborate with the Major Projects and Product Sales Managers to expand and develop the business alongside existing MPS sales and service channels.
This role involves conducting field studies of machine performance, using software simulation programs and the Terex knowledge base to analyze project requirements, accurately selecting equipment to meet specifications, and preparing quotations and formal proposals. The role will work across sales, engineering, and procurement to manage projects and support sales and marketing initiatives.
The position primarily supports new machine and aftermarket sales, focusing on Apron Feeders and specialized projects nationally. It will also involve partnering technical sales skills with engineering expertise, providing troubleshooting, and delivering technical training for Terex Machines.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and recommend suitable equipment from the Terex Jaques product portfolio to meet customer needs.
- Provide technical support and product training to the sales team.
- Create Aggflow process flows for new plant proposals.
- Optimize plant operations to improve efficiency and meet customer specifications.
Position Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and engineering experience.
- Hands-on operational experience with large equipment, maintenance, and product support.
- Experience in the mineral crushing and screening industry is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
