Your role

As a Sales Consultant at GRC Surgical, you will aim to achieve and surpass sales budgets by applying your sales skills, technical knowledge, and strong customer relationship abilities. Your primary responsibility is to represent GRC Surgical's portfolio of surgical devices used to detect breast cancers and other medical issues.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will work closely with external customers (gynaecology/breast care surgeons, radiologists, and theatre staff) to support our vision of delivering superior clinical outcomes for Australian patients across Victoria.

You will be responsible for managing complex sales projects, leading trials, and providing in‑service sessions to prepare teams to adopt new technologies.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Surgical Sales Experience: Proven experience in surgical sales within the healthcare industry.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn and disseminate technical information effectively.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and analytical abilities to prioritise tasks and achieve performance goals.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Presentation Skills: Ability to present information clearly and confidently.
  • Self‑Driven: Ability to work autonomously with initiative.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and foster collaboration.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Clinical Background: Experience as a registered nurse or allied health professional with relevant clinical or product knowledge.
  • Commercial Acumen: Previous commercial or sales experience with strong business writing and account management skills.
