GRC Consultant

  • 3-Month Assignment with potential to extend
  • Work from any major city across Australia
  • Existing NV1 Security clearance required (essential)

Green Light is a growing consulting organisation known for its work in Telecommunications and System Integration Services organisations. We have a requirement with our client partner for GRC Consultant tojoin their team on a 3-month assignment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks across government and telco environments.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of security and compliance programs aligned with ISM, PSPF, and other relevant standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments, control reviews, and compliance audits.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory and contractual obligations are met.
  • Prepare documentation and reports for audits, risk committees, and executive stakeholders.
  • Assist in incident response planning and business continuity strategies.
  • Stay current with changes in government security policies and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Must have an existing AGSVA NV1 security clearance (mandatory).
  • Experience in GRC roles within government or critical infrastructure sectors (e.g., telco, health, services).
  • Strong understanding of Australian Government security frameworks (e.g., ISM, PSPF).
  • Familiarity with risk management methodologies (e.g., ISO 31000, NIST).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • PEP status or eligibility to obtain PEP (desirable but not essential).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer) are a plus.
