Overview

Teacher - Humanities and Social Sciences at Kinross College, Department of Education, Western Australia. This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 4, 2025.

The Role

Kinross College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) Teacher to join our team commencing Term 4, 2025. We welcome applications from educators at all stages of their careers. The successful applicant will ideally specialise in the HASS curriculum and contribute to a collaborative, supportive, and forward-thinking learning area. You would be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive programs that reflect the needs of our diverse school community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the HASS team to plan and deliver high-quality curriculum
  • Develop learning programs that are responsive to student needs and interests
  • Use formative assessment and data to inform teaching and improve student outcomes
  • Build respectful and productive relationships with students, staff, and families
  • Differentiate instruction to support individualised learning and extension
  • Integrate technology effectively into teaching practices; familiarity with Compass is desirable

Eligibility
  • Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment

  • Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number before you start
