Overview

We are seeking a Fleet Coordinator / Mechanic to plan and coordinate the logistics, servicing and maintenance of our vehicles, plant and equipment. You'll oversee a fleet of approx. 60 light vehicles and 10 heavy vehicles across our key contracts in Brisbane, Toowoomba and Rockhampton. This full-time, permanent role offers the perfect mix of hands-on work at the depots and office-based coordination. Regular travel will be required between depots.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Coordinate and monitor fleet servicing and maintenance schedules
  • Conduct general servicing on various machinery and vehicles (light and heavy)
  • Liaising with third party mechanics in various locations
  • Use Gearbox (Fleet Management System) to manage servicing, repairs, and records
  • Ensure vehicles remain compliant with safety and operational standards
  • Monday to Friday availability, with occasional weekend work as required
  • Following all safety and quality requirements on-site
  • Contributing to a team focused on reliability, quality, and safety
Essential Criteria
  • Minimum 3 years' mechanical experience
  • Hands-on experience with general servicing across a wide range of plant and machinery
  • Proficient in Gearbox (or similar Fleet Management Software) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Valid Driver's Licence – MR/HR Class
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly across QLD
  • Strong work ethic, physical capability, and commitment to safety
Desirable Criteria
  • First Aid Certificate and Valid CPR Certificate
  • High Risk Work Licence – EWP, Rigging & Forklift Classes
