We're seeking a delivery-focused Project Manager to lead the solution design, business case development, and national implementation of our Digital Print, Multimedia & Music Transformation.

This role will guide the shift from mixed internal and third-party models to a centralised in-house solution for producing memorial stationery (e.g., 'order of service' booklets) and funeral video tributes (to include music). The Project Manager will collaborate with stakeholders to shape the solution, build the supporting business case, and oversee a staged rollout of design, print, and distribution capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

Project Planning and Execution

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of the in-house digital print and multimedia transformation, from solution design through national rollout.
• Oversee project planning, milestone tracking, and delivery of hardware, software, and infrastructure components.
• Facilitate solution design and business case development in collaboration with Finance, Operations, and Procurement to ensure feasibility, benefits alignment, and executive buy-in.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Operations, Marketing, IT, Procurement, and frontline team members to align on goals and execution.
• Act as the central point of coordination between business leads, technical teams, and service owners to ensure quality, cost, and service outcomes.

Review Of the Initial POC Implementation

• Manage pilot site deployments and feedback cycles to validate solution effectiveness and inform broader rollout.
• Facilitate training and onboarding for site teams, ensuring adoption of new workflows and standards.

Change Management and Training

• Support change management efforts in collaboration with HR and Change Leads, including communications, training, and stakeholder readiness.
• Champion user adoption and ensure consistent customer experience across locations.

Vendor and Procurement Support

• Work with Procurement to finalise supplier agreements and ensure commercial terms support implementation success.
• Monitor vendor performance and alignment with project objectives.

Risk and Quality Management

• Identify and mitigate risks related to quality control, change resistance, and deployment delays.
• Implement quality assurance processes to maintain consistency and reliability across sites.

If you have proven experience managing IT, digital or print production implementations across multi-site environments as well as strong organisational and stakeholder management skills then we would like to hear from you.

Ideally, you will have a background in funeral, healthcare, or customer-facing services. We are also looking for someone with a strong understanding of:

• Digital asset workflows, creative tools, and production scheduling.
• Print production software systems (advantageous).
• Managing or contributing to project budgets and financial planning.
• Defining and tracking success metrics such as cost savings, turnaround time, and adoption rates.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).

Our successful contractor must also possess a willingness to travel to NSW/QLD and other State operations centres as needed. This contract will run for approximately 6 to 12 months, with the potential to extend.

The location is ideally Rhodes, NSW with some flexibility as this is a national all States Australia project.
